Dear Grade 4 and every one else who is reading.
After Broome we when't to De-Gray river. we spent one night there and there were lots of bugs and a grass hopper flew into Graces face(Grace is my sister) we had an open fire at no fire place no rocks to stop the fire from starting a bush fire just open. After de gray river we whent to port hedlend it was the second BIG 4 holiday park we have been to on this trip.now every one that thinks the picture of snow down the bottom of this page is snow then you are absolutely wrong it is actually salt that's right salt they get it to make glass plastic cleaning products and much more they also mine iron to send to china to send back to us as toy cars real cars and any other things that's metal and says "made in -china".
After port headlend we when't to Karijini national park there were lots of walks involving water.
After Karijini we went to tom price and set up and that was it.
From Tom.

Hi Tom and Grace, you both look terrific and seem to be learning heaps. Dad sent us the Dropbox video of you both extracting iron ore from the soil with a magnet. How clever of you and all the other photos are fabulous as well. We are sure that you will love Coral Bay. One of our favourite places in Australia was Ned's Camp in the Cape Range National Park near Coral Bay. If you find a place to camp there then make sure that you do some fishing. Pa caught a sting ray there but fortunately it spat out the hook and got away. Keep the photos and great stories coming. We love reading them. Much love from Nan and Pa xxxx
ReplyDeleteHi Grace and Tom!!
ReplyDeleteLook at all that salt! That is incredible! Imagine all that salt in your diet, you wouldn't be very healthy at all. That picture with the kangaroo is so adorable. That's a very interesting fact about the iron that is made in Australia but exported to China then sent back to us again. We are learning so many great facts about Australia from your blog Tom and Grace! Keep it up!
Hi Tommy, gosh that is seriously a lot of salt...lots of chips needed there!! You guys have such good tmes, that Joey was adorable. Nothing as exciting as that here in old Mt. Waverley. I bet Ray would have loved the mine tour, amazing how that type of thing impresses him a lot. We love readind about your adventures Australian wide, such a great experience. Can't wait to see you guys, but so happy you are loving your trip. Love to you all. Carm & Ray 😅👫xxxx
